Lyndhurst Brahman Stud is proud to achieve 38 years of continued association with the Moura Bull Sale. Originally established by Eric & Val Nobbs, the strong performance of Lyndhurst Brahman Cattle is being continued by their daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Neal Lynch. This is the sixth year we, the Lyndhurst Cattle Company, have offered bulls at the Nobbs Families Moura Bull Sale. After working closely with Eric before his passing in 2015, we have the belief we can carry on the proud undertaking and continue the development of Lyndhurst Brahman Cattle. Eric & Val Nobbs of Lyndhurst Biloela purchased their first Brahman bull in 1949 and joined the Australian Brahman Breeders Association in 1964. Eric gained life Membership with ABBA in 2002 for recognition of his outstanding contribution to the advancement of Brahman cattle. The Lyndhurst breeding program over the years has consisted of bloodlines sourced from USA and many leading Australian Studs. Many prominent Pastoral Companies have shown their acknowledgment of the Lyndhurst infusion of JDH and V8 bloodlines by purchasing bulls for the harsh conditions of the north. Complementing the strong male bloodlines held by the Lyndhurst cattle, the female lines have achieved good results at the Brahman Commercial Female Show and Sale. Along with Lyndhurst bred Sires, the 2021 Moura Bull Sale team have been sired by Elrose, Carinya, Lancefield, NCC and Stewart Park. Lyndhurst cattle are marketed annually at the Nobbs Families Moura Bull Sale as well as for purchase direct from the paddock.
